Chanel Lee Johns Bikowicz, 40, of Millsboro, PA and formerly of LaBelle, PA passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017.  She was born February 15, 1977 in Uniontown, PA to Ronald R. Johns, Jr. and Barbara Jones Johns.

Chanel was very private, sweet, and kind; and she loved her family, especially her niece and nephews.  She enjoyed visiting Amish Country and was a die-hard New England Patriots fan.   She was a straight shooter and held no punches when it came to telling it how it is; and for that, those who knew her truly appreciated it.  Her dog, Wallace, was her "baby" and everyone knew it! She graduated from California University with a Bachelor's in Journalism in 2000 and was employed  in Washington, PA as an Office Billing Manager for Southwestern PA Neurology - an affiliate of St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Chanel touched the hearts of many and will forever be remembered.

Chanel is predeceased by her grandparents: Ronald R."Bunny" Johns, Sr., William Jones, and Ruth Jones; aunts: Janet Knisley and Elizabeth Sims; cousins: Kandice Hill and Christy Lancaster.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Timothy S. Bikowicz of Millsboro, PA; her parents: Ronald R. and Barbara L. Johns, Jr. of LaBelle, PA; sister, Nicole E. Grayson and husband Mario of Brownsville, PA; grandmother, Geraldine Johns of Brownsville, PA; nephews: Mario and Omarion; niece, Ramielle; in-laws: Paul and Pam Bikowicz; aunts and uncles: Jeffrey & Geraldine Jones of California; Ted & Juanita Thomas of Filbert; Fred & Louise McFarland of Columbus, OH; Betty & Van Johnson of Hasselbeck, GA; Sheila & John Lambert of NJ; Audrey & Vic Townes of Clairton, PA; Lena Hill of Charleroi, PA; Robert & Phyllis Jones of Brownsville, PA; Roy Jones of San Diego, CA; Chris Jones of Uniontown, PA; cousins, and a host other relatives and friends.

To the Family of Chanel L. (Johns) Bikowicz;

There isn’t any way to prepare for the sudden loss of a family member. In the quiet moments when the hurt is hard to bear, may love become your shelter and may the beauty of memories become your comfort.

You have the sympathies of the members of St. Paul’s A.M.E. Church as you make your way through this passage. It won’t be easy, but you can rely on the support of all your friends and church family. Chanel will be missed by everyone.

Our prayers are with you and you have our deepest sympathy in this time of sorrow. Chanel's time here touched a lot of people. Just look around at her family and friends that are here to celebrate her life.

“Don't weep at my grave, for I am not there,
I've a date with a butterfly to dance in the air.
I'll be singing in the sunshine, wild and free,
Playing tag with the wind, while I'm waiting for thee.”

In His Service Always,
Rev. Alfred L. Thompson, Jr.
And The Members of St. Paul’s A.M.E. Church, Uniontown

Bud and Barb,
Maurice and I extend our sincere condolences on the untimely death of your dear daughter, Chanel. The death of a loved is often very difficult to endure. However, there is a GOD who said, all who are heavy laden can come to him and he will give rest. Lean on the LORD in your time of sorrow to make your journey of acceptance. To the Johns family,
We are so saddened by the tragedy, and sudden loss of Chanel. It's almost incomprehensible to face the loss of one's child, and the hurt you feel. You're in our thoughts and prayers, and may God comfort you now, and forever, through the difficult times of the healing process you face. Beautiful memories are given us to cherish, and keep loved ones in our hearts forever. You have our deepest sympathy.
Love ~ Janice and Bill Shafer (Timmy, Paul and Pam Bicowicz's Aunt & Uncle)
