William R. King, Sr.

Born on August 8, 1957, to the late Russell P. King and Elizabeth A. King.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Lee King; grandchildren: Jonathan Russell King, Jr. and Michaela C. White.

William served in the United States Army and upon discharge from the Army, he began driving trucks. He loved being on the highway driving his 18-wheelers.   William was a member of Turner Chapel AME Church in Marietta, Ga.  

He leaves to cherish in his memory, his wife, Wanda Flowers King; daughter, Amy King, Madisonville, Ky; sons: Jonathan (Mia) King, Sr., Paducah, K, and William (Jolie) King Jr, Sacramento, Ca; brothers: Phillip (Linda) King, Monessen, Pa, and Thurman (Erin) King, Hopwood, Pa; sister, Debra Goings, Uniontown, Pa; uncle, Thurman (Alice) King, Maryland; one aunt; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
