Violet High, age 91, of California, PA died on January 30, 2024, at the LaFayette Manor in Uniontown, PA. She was born June 22, 1932, to the late Clarence and Harriet (Jones) High in Brooklyn, NY.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children: Clarence Lee High, Daniel Lee High, and Regina E. Alexander; her twin sister, Daisy Williams; and sister, Lorraine Giles

She leaves behind her children: Lorraine E. High-Cadlett, Sheila A. High, Henry N. Hamilton, David A. Hamilton, and Darren J. Whitehurst; brother, Clarence High, Jr.; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Sleep in peace Violet, until we all meet again.

Friends will be received at the LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA on Saturday, February 10th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service.
