Thompson B. Minor, Sr.

Thompson Blair Minor, Sr., age 91 and of Uniontown, PA passed away on October 21, 2023, at his home with his family by his side.

Thompson was born on January 15, 1932, in Uniontown to the late Carlous Remington and Clara Belle Thompson Minor.

In addition to his parents, Thompson is preceded in death by his son, Jerry A. Minor, Sr., granddaughter, Janette A. Minor and grandson, Jerry A. Minor, Jr.; siblings: Carlous Minor, Melvina Lampley, Vivan Minor, Phyllis Minor, Dora Williams, and Lorraine Minor.

Thompson retired from Ford Motor Company in the Rouge Steel Division after 42 years of service. He loved cruising the streets of Uniontown while listening to his jazz.

Thompson is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Elaine F. Davis Minor; children: Thompson Minor, Jr., (Lena), Doreen Minor -Miniafee (Ronnie), Kevin Minor and Derrek Minor (Karen); numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a special niece, Sharlene Marbury; two special nephews: Grayling and Brandon, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Friends will be received at the LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA on Monday, November 6th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the hour of service. Interment will immediately follow at the Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
