Thomas "Tom" Dusan Bittner, Sr, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly on February 26, 2024.
Son of the late Melroy and Mille Bittner, Tom grew up in a loving family alongside his siblings Jackie (Jim) Brunick, Steven (Misty) Bittner, Donna Koerbel, the late James (Marianne) Bittner, Melissa (Beau) Posset, Becky (Matthew) Hovanec, and Mariane (Stanley) Darkowski. He cherished his upbringing and maintained close relationships with his siblings throughout his life.
Tom was a devoted husband to Kelly (Allerton) Bittner, his partner in life and love. Their bond was a testament to enduring commitment and mutual respect, enriching the lives of all who knew them. As a father, Tom was a guiding light to his daughter and three sons: Colleen, Thomas Jr (Kayla), Michael (Michelle), and Zachary (Stephanie). He instilled in them values of integrity, hard work, and kindness, shaping them into the remarkable individuals they are today. His love for his children knew no bounds, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments and the individuals that they had become. He is survived by grandchildren Jett, Marlo, Brody, and Ava.
In addition to his roles within his family, Tom was a friend to many. His warm smile, generous spirit, and genuine interest in others endeared him to all who crossed his path. He will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty and the laughter he brought to every gathering.
Tom's sudden departure has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. However, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May his legacy of love, compassion, and strength serve as a source of comfort during this difficult time.
Tom, you will be deeply missed, but your spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing you. Rest in peace.
