Theresa Gezella Barker

Theresa Gezella Barker, age 69, of Fairchance, PA passed away on February 17, 2025, at the Mt. Macrina Manor in Uniontown, PA.  She was born in Staten Island, NY on November 25, 1955, to the late Thomas Somogyi and Bridget (Blanch) Diskin. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, James Diskin.

Theresa retired after 30 years of employment as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and most of all spending time with her precious family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: William Maynard, John Maynard, and James Diskin, Jr.

She leaves beautiful memories to her children: Kristen Cooper of Ralph, PA, Jessica (Tom) Raboin of Verona, PA, and Michael Barker of Fairchance, PA; grandchildren: Alexcis (Joel) David of Uniontown, PA, Trevon Oliver of Ralph, PA, Aarionna Cooper of Ralph, PA, Isaia Cooper of Ralph, PA, Javarion Smith of Ralph, PA, Isacc Bradley of Penn Hills, PA, Magdalen Bradley of Penn Hills, PA, Sargent Bradley of Penn Hills, PA, and Lauralei Raboin of Verona, PA; great-grandchildren: Waylon David and Wyatt David; siblings: Thomas Somogyi of North Carolina and Kelly Gurganus of North Carolina; and a host of other family and friends.
