Shavon “The Scenario” Martinez, 29, of Uniontown, PA and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA was called home to Glory, to rest; to sing with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 24, 2021, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born October 22, 1991, to Janice Latoya Martinez of Bronx, NY and Shinemba Billings of Pittsburgh, PA.
Shavon was a very talented young man and was loved by many. He had a beautiful spirit that shined thu him; his light was noticed by all he encountered. He was an artist, an uncle, a friend. He will always be remembered for his music. Shavon had passion for writing music, writing songs, singing his own songs, and making beats. He taught himself to flow. If Shavon had love for you or was feeling the moment, you were guaranteed to be blessed by his beautiful voice, with a personally written song. He didn't care where he was at when it happened. So if and when Shavon called you family, then that's what you were.... he never cared if the same blood that ran through him and ran thru you was different. He just loved. He cared. And he loved hard!
Shavon is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Santos Martinez; brothers: Kendre Martinez, and Santos Martinez; sister, Priscilla Martinez, and paternal grandmother; Valerie Reuben.
He leaves a treasure of memories to be cherished by his parents; grandparents: Janis and (Keith) Thomas; sisters: Rastazja and (Burt) Gibson, Shinazja Martinez, Robriga Gilmore, and Mikayla Harris; godmother, Arnita Long; aunts and uncles; 11 nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. Also recognized are special people who played important roles in his life.
