Ruth Elizabeth Carter

Ruth Elizabeth Carter, age 77, of Uniontown, PA passed away on April 15, 2025, at the Uniontown Hospital. She was born on August 14, 1947, to the late Paul and Rose Brown Carter in Uniontown.

Ruth enjoyed bingo and was often lucky; she also enjoyed reading romance novels, cooking, baking, and playing cards.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Roberta Carter; siblings: Shirley, Paul Jr., Thomas, Cynthia, Marcella, and Carol.

She is survived by her siblings: Richard (Yvonne) Carter, James Carter, Sr., Janet (Alphonzo) Wallace, Phyllis (Robert) Carter, and Anthony Carter; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received at the LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA on Tuesday, April 22nd from 11 AM – 1 PM, the hour of service.
