Rodney A. “Nutt” King, Sr. 67, of Cambridge, MA and formerly of Whitsett, Pa passed away on November 13, 2018. He was born to the late Lomah Faye Davis on August 8, 1951.
Rodney was a graduate of Frazier High School in Perryopolis, Pa where he excelled in sports and was inducted into the Frazier Basketball Hall of Fame. He worked many years in the entertainment industry as a Deejay and was known and dear to many.
In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Edna Davis; uncles: Ronald Davis and Phillip Davis; and aunts: Velma Davis and Phyllis Stover.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, Rodney A. “RJ” King, Jr. and his mother, Anne Jennings; uncle, Gerald (Estelle) Davis of Grindstone, Pa; Phillip (Lynn) Davis of Virginia Beach, VA – whom was like a brother; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Friends will be received on Monday, November 26th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m, the hour of service at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, RR2 Perryopolis, PA; interment will immediately follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Belle Vernon, PA.
