Norlie Wardell Obituary

Norlie E. Wardell, age 70, passed away on June 11, 2021 at the Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA.

Norlie was born on February 14, 1951 in Sacramento, CA to the late Marion Allen, Sr. and Jonnie Georgia Mae Allen.

She attended Sacramento City Junior College at received a nursing degree. On August 24, 1971, she married Napoleon Wardell, Jr. in Reno, NV. Norlie traveled the states and overseas with her husband during his time in the Airforce. Together they raised two children. Norlie loved being a mother, traveling, and cooking. She kept her family and friends close to her heart, by being there and helping any way she could.

Norlie was loved and valued. She will be missed. She touched many lives with her generosity and straight forward passion for life.

In addition to her parents and husband, Norlie is predeceased by her siblings: Marva, Martha, and Marion.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: KylaRae (Nikki), and Napoleon III; a host of other relatives and friends in CA, TX, and PA.

Professional arrangements are under the care of LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA.

A private family service will be held to honor her life.
