I HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT. I HAVE FINISHED MY COURSE. I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH. HENCEFORTH, THERE IS LAID UP FOR ME A CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, WHICH THE LORD, THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, SHALL GIVE ME AT THAT DAY, AND NOT TO ME ONLY, BUT UNTO ALL THEM ALSO THAT LOVE HIS APPEARING.

Nakeyia Shanta German was born November 29, 1989, in Columbia, SC to the late Felix and Bonita Scott German. On Saturday, August 9, 2025, she transitioned from this earthly life to eternity in Warren, Ohio.
Affectionately known as "Keyia," she began her early education in Richland County School District One in Columbia, SC, and later graduated from
Uniontown Area High School in Uniontown, PA.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Susie Mae German and Roosevelt Carter; best family friends, Sherrod Williams and Charlie Bell; and her beloved fur baby, King.
Those left to cherish her loving memory include her brothers, Jermaine (Jazell) German and Dewayne (Ashley) German of Republic, PA; aunts, Colleen L. Jones of Hopkins, SC, and Jessica Jones of Gadsden, SC; uncle, Steve German of Allison, PA; her grandmother, Mary S. Jones of Gadsden, SC; her grandfather, Ulysses Rice of Hopkins, SC; nephews, Braedon Dickerson, Jermaine German Jr., Dewayne German Jr., and Miguel German; nieces, Jermyah German, Aubree Middleton, Lataya German, and Nova Lewis, all of Republic, PA; her best friends, Latavia Lee, Kayla Stone, Samantha Bailey, Nikki Bailey, Amy Bailey, and Derek Marucci; her cherished fur baby, Rico; and a host of family and friends from South Carolina and Pennsylvania who will miss her dearly.
Keyia will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, and the love she gave so freely to all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
