Our beloved Marvalene “Babe” Johnson passed away on November 26, 2024. She was born on January 14, 1945, to the late Chester and Josephine (Rhodes) Williamson in Logan, WV.

Babe loved serving and praising the Lord. She was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church and served as a deaconess. She loved children and she raised plenty of them. Marvelene will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Marvalene is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Nathaniel Johnson, Sr.; siblings: John “Junebug” Warmack, Henry Williamson, Mickey Williamson, Margaret Dean, Gladys Binion, JoAnn Jackson, and Bernadine Little, and her beloved grandson who always looked out for and cared for her, Charles Leonard Bell III.

She is survived by her children: Kevin (Sherry) Williamson, Sharon Thomas, Paul Williamson, Terry (Penny) Williamson, Linda (Eugene) Wilson, and Rachonne (Tony) Beavers; her brother, Stanley Leroy Williamson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 231 Filbert-Orient Rd, Cardale, PA on Saturday, December 7th from 10 AM – 12 PM. The funeral will begin at 12 PM and interment will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park in Brier Hill, PA.
