Lois was a kind, gentle, caring, and nurturing woman of God who touched the lives of everyone in her life.
She was a mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She and will be forever remembered.
Lois retired from Central State University in 1995 where she worked in the President’s house. During her tenure there, she had the pleasure of spending time with many greats such as Mohammed Ali, Bill Cosby, and Arsenio Hall.
She loved to travel with her friends to vacation every year. She was an active member in her church where she played piano.
She was a great cook and storyteller. She had a warm smile and gave warm hugs to those she loved.
Lois loved God and we know she is resting in Him.
Lois is predeceased by her husband, Melvet Moody, and siblings: James, Lonnie, William, Betty, Ed, and Edith.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Rebecca Henderson and husband, Ervin of Cincinnati, OH, Carolyn Strausbach of Springfield, OH, and Melvet “Eddie” Moody and wife, Gayle of Wilmington, OH; grandchildren: Michael Jefferson, Eric High, Dusti High, Simone Moody, Alexander Kristoff; step-grandson, Brian; great-grandchildren: Keith Jefferson, Mitchell Jefferson, and Kingston High; sister, Mary Baker; and nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
