LeAnna Monique Settles-Brown held onto to life with serenity and a passion for family until GOD blessed her and awarded her with life in HEAVEN on January 9, 2025. After long term sickness her pain has ended.  GOD declared it was a time for healing, and He sent angels to escort LeAnna to the Kingdom of Heaven. They rejoiced and ascended to the ‘highest ground’. 

LeAnna was born March 25, 1979, in Uniontown to proud parents, Tamarra Harris and Marvin Settles, Sr.  She attended Uniontown Senior High School. She later earned her GED and briefly attended West Virginia University. Her Love for all people and art was exemplified in her working career.  Years of assisting customers and providing service as a cashier at Save A Lot, before enjoying a decade long position with Davis Lynch Glass Factory in Star City, WY where she handled all processes including shipping and manufacturing ornamentations.

LeAnna adored her husband of 12 years, James P. “JP” Brown.

She leaves to cherish her husband of 12 years whom she adored, James P. “JP” Brown; mother, Tamarra Harris and step-father, Craig, whom she admired and loved; her father, Marvin Settles, Sr.; children: Jenae Poole, Taryk Poole, Shailyn Poole, Avonna Brown, SuCora Brown, and Jamyz Brown; step-son, Jadon Frezzell; grandchildren: Chantz, Kingston, Sereniti, and Bella; brothers: Marvin Settles, Jr. and Justin (April) Settles; step-siblings: grandmother, Leola Bryant; special aunt, Rose Thompson who shared the same birthday; other aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Friends will be received at the LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA on Saturday, January 18th from 11 AM – 1PM. The funeral will begin at 1 PM. Interment is private.
