Kenneth L Wilson, age 74, of Pittsburgh, PA and formerly of Edenborn, PA, passed away at his home on February 1, 2024. Kenny was born April 18, 1949, in Edenborn , PA, the son of the late Eugene and Louise Chinn Wilson.
Kenny AKA “TC” was a member of the United States Marine Corps. He saved a platoon of men from a land mine explosion, and that’s how he earned his purple heart. Kenny enjoyed life to its fullest. He loved music and dancing. You couldn’t keep him off the dance floor especially when he heard his favorite song, The Atomic Dog. He loved people and would do for everyone, and was known to give his last--he had a big heart of gold. But one thing for certain he didn’t take no stuff from anyone and folks knew not to take his kindness for weakness.
In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in death by his siblings: Arthur “Buddy” Turner, Genevieve “Sissy” Turner, James “Jay” Turner, Charles “Poochie/Chuck” Turner, David Davy Wilson, Donald “Nonie” Wilson, Robert “Bobby/Coke” Wilson, William “Billy” Wilson and Leonard Warden Wilson.
Kenny is survived by his children: Kevin (Misty) Garner and Jeanna (fiance’, Mario) Wilson; grandchildren: Keneisha and Kierra Garner, and Amos, Monica and Jai-Hyem Saunders; great-grandchildren: A.J., Kior, and Roialty Jean Chisler; his sister, Lehretta Wilson- Hale, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Kenny will be sadly missed. The family deeply appreciates all of the support received during this difficult time.
Friends will be received at the LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA on Monday, February 12th from 11 AM to 1 PM, the hour of service. Interment will immediately follow at Edenborn Cemetery, Edenborn, PA.
