Joshua L. Stevens

Joshua L. Stevens, age 33, of Uniontown, PA passed away June 13th in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born in Uniontown, PA on July 5, 1990.

Joshua AKA “Heavy Jae”, attended high school in Emmaus, PA where he wrestled. He loved the Philadephia Eagles and making music very talented in his rap skills. 

Joshua is preceded in death by his brother, Isaiah Stevens; grandparents: Eliga and Hattie (Pugh) Stevens and his uncle, Douglas Jackson.

He is survived by his son, Braedon Michael Casey; parents: Wendy Peterson Thomas of Brownsville, PA and Andre (Elisa) Stevens of Landsdale, PA; brother, Solomon M. Stevens; grandparents: Frank Lee (Vickie) Peterson, Rev. Linda Jackson Peterson; uncles: Frankie Lee Peterson, Dr. Elijah Stevens, and Karlton Stevens; aunts: Katherine (James) Peterson Thomas, Richele Thomas, Emma Jackson Harris, Bishop Etta Banks, and Denise Medley; niece, Kiana Stevens; step-siblings: Anthony Andrews and Gianna Andrews Stacks; step-grandparents: Tony and Betty Pascucci; many cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Friends will be received at the LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA on Tuesday, June 25th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM. Internment will immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Brownsville, PA.
