Jolene Elizabeth “Yowie” McLee, 51, of Uniontown, PA passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA with her family by her side. She was born in Uniontown on October 31, 1967 to the late Hortense McLee and Alvin King, Sr.
Jolene was a graduate of Uniontown High School’s Graduating Class of 1986; she was a member of the NAACP. She was formerly employed by the Sony Plant located in New Stanton, PA and at the Rest Haven Personal Care Home in Uniontown until she became ill. She was a member of the Mt. Rose Baptist Church and stood on the Missionary Society.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Daylan and Jaleesa McLee, both of Uniontown; three grandchildren who were the joy of her life: Avian Molter, Jalayah Williams, and Sa’Kari McLee and adopted grandson, Axavier Molter; siblings: Doreen (Rogene) McLee and Stephanie McLee all of Uniontown; Janice(Douglas) Elerbe of South Orange, NJ; Guylan (Robin) McLee and Cameron (Karen) McLee all of Tucson, Arizona; Troy (Ramona) McLee of Milwaukee, WI; Brent McLee of Connellsville, PA and Alvin King, Jr. of Morgantown, WV; uncles: Charles (Barbara) McLee; aunt, Lavada McLee of Uniontown; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Friends and Family will be received at the Mt. Rose Baptist Church located at 9 Martin Luther King Way in Uniontown on Saturday, June 22nd from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, the hour of service with Rev. Gary Yarbrough officiating and assisted by Rev. Brian McLee. Interment will immediately follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery in Uniontown, PA.
