Jeffrey Allen Ridgely

Jeffrey A. Ridgely, age 69, passed away peacefully with family by his side on July 13, 2024, in Pittsburgh, PA after a long battle with heart failure.

Jeffrey Ridgely was born on March 29, 1955, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late John and Rose Ridgely.  

Jeffrey worked for many years at Scott C's Auto as a professional detailer and would often serve as a guide and mentor for new workers. He loved his career and his coworkers and considered them more like family.

Jeffrey took great pride in being a father and grandfather. He was best known for his passion for cars, love of animals, and his dedication to his family and his Christian faith. Jeffrey was proud of his sobriety and lived a clean and sober life for the last 33 years.

Jeffrey is survived by his daughter, Ayeesha Ridgely and her spouse, Katie of Uniontown; granddaughter, Stella Colgan; niece, whom was like a daughter, Mariena Workman and her spouse, Moses, and their daughters:  Malia and Maya Workman.

Jeffrey is also preceded in death by his brother, Steven Ridgely, and his sister, Renee Adams.

Friends will be received for a memorial gathering at LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA on Tuesday, July 30th from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
