Jacqueline R. Grigsby

Jacqueline Ruth Boone Grigsby, age 67, transitioned to eternal rest at her home on June 16, 2024, with family by her side. She was born on September 28,1956 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Ferdinand and Jacquelyn (Minor) Boone. 

Jacqueline, affectionately known as “ Aunt Jackie “ in the neighborhood, was a nurturer and would help anyone. In her free time she loved going to church and spending time with family and friends. She especially loved spending quality time with her grandkids and her faithful companion, her dog, Butter. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Boone and her aunt, Dorthy Boone. 

Jackie is survived by her loving daughter, Teres (Aaron) Grigsby; sons: Christopher Lewis and Marquette Vaden: grandchildren: Latricia, Jessiah, Kiamia, Janilah, Jayden, ShiLeak, and Elijah; great-grandchildren: My’Jere and Kahlanie; sister, Karen; good friend, Flora “Snookie”, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Jackie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
