Ian Christopher Praster, Sr. of Brownsville PA went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2021. He was born May 19, 1989, to Lisa and Daniel Praster in Fitchburg, MA.

Ian is preceded in death his paternal grandparents, Bill and Mary Praster of Williamsport, PA; maternal grandfather, Fred Frank Harris; uncle, Johnny Frank Harris of Hiller, PA, uncle Rick and Aunt Donna Mitchelltree of Williamsport, PA.

Ian is survived by his mother, Lisa A. Praster of Uniontown, PA; father, Daniel C. Praster of Williamsport, PA; children: Daniel J. Praster and Ian C. Praster, Jr. of Washington, PA, and Ariya L. Praster and Jeremiah Schoch of California, PA; maternal grandmother, Alice M. Harris of Hiller, PA; three brothers: Sean M. Praster of Allison #1, PA, Jeremy S. Praster, Sr. of Brownsville, PA,  and Sean R. Ferry of Williamsport, PA; sister, Shaunice Douglas of Williamsport, PA; uncles: Fred M. Harris (Mona) of Low Hill, PA, Donald Harris (Danielle) of Pittsburgh, PA, Danny (Ice) Harris of Ambridge, PA, Donald Praster (Kim) of Williamsport, PA, Dave Praster (Lynn), and his favorite uncle, David A. Harris (Rachel) of Eighty-84, PA; aunts: Ella F. Harris of Charleroi, PA, Barbara Harris of Brownsville, PA, Mary Lane (Emmanuel) of Pittsburgh, PA, Sally Samuels (Darnell) Brownsville, PA, and Debra Praster of Williamsport, PA. Ian also leaves behind numerous cousins, close friends, and the children he coached in Football and Basketball.

He had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that was huge and contagious.  He was a fantastic father and a true inspiration to all who knew him.  He was a football and basketball coach.  He loved his children.
