Floyd W. Calloway, Sr.

Floyd (Flop) Calloway, Sr., age 77, of Brownsville, PA transitioned from this life on August 31, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Flop entered this world on January 31, 1947, in East Millsboro, PA to the late Willie Mae Calloway (Onia Mae Redd) and James Stoutmire. 

In addition to his parents, Flop is preceded in death by his brother, David H. Calloway; sister:  Gloria Anne Collins, Jean H. Calloway, and Gracie Lena Hawkins. 

When he was well Flop attended the Baptist Church in Lamberton, PA.

Flop is survived by his wife Sharon L. Calloway; the following siblings: Emmit (Tazuko) Calloway, James R. Calloway, Gerald A. Calloway, Lenora Calloway, Calinda D. Lee, Lucy B. Calloway, and Ida Rae Calloway; daughter: Jacqueline (Jackie) Calloway, Kim Lee, Lisa Jones, Rochelle Ford, and Sharon Lee; sons: Floyd (Man) Calloway, Jr., Ryan D. Reed Calloway, and Robert Robbie) Branch; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Professional arrangements are under the care of LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 P.M on Wednesday, September 11th and the funeral service will be Thursday, September 12th at 11 AM with Rev. Mark A. Penn officiating.
