Dillard W. “Whitney” Robinson, Jr. transitioned from this life on Sunday July 19, 2026 with his family by his side He was born November 20, 1950 in Orient, Pa., the second of 10 children of the late Dillard W and Betty L Robinson Sr.
Whitney attended Cardale Elementary School, Cardale PA and graduated from Brownsville Area Senior High School, Brownsville PA. He also attended Vo-Tech studying auto mechanics while in high school. After graduating in 1968, Whitney moved to Detroit, Michigan for a number of years working for Ford motor company. While working for Ford Whitney received certificate’s in welding and carpentry. Upon returning home to Uniontown , Pennsylvania he began a career in long haul truck driving. Whitney was a sports enthusiast and loved reading mystery novels. We will all miss Whitney’s smile and his laughter.
Whitney is proceeded in death by his parents, Dillard W. and Betty L. Robinson Sr. Sisters Cheryl Renee Robinson and Yvonne Lois Mitchell. Brother Raymond Mitchell Robinson. Grandson Ki’aire Jones. He leaves to cherish his memoire. Two daughters. Whitney Love Robinson, Cydney Robinson and six grandchildren. Brothers Robert (Monica) Robinson, Kurt(Anita) Robinson, Brian (Shelia)Robinson. Sisters Elaine Thomas, Linda Robinson, Beth Ann (Charles)Byrd. A host of niece’s, nephews, great nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
