Dawn E. Walker

Dawn Eileen Walker was born July 30, 1966, and transitioned suddenly on February 6, 2023, at the age of 56.                                               

Dawn is reunited with her beloved family members including her mother, Marie K. Harris. We are certain her family angels to welcomed, and celebrated her arrival. 

Dawn unselfishly lived a joyful and rewarding life.  Growing up she attended botht both Uniontown High and Laurel Highlands.  Throughout her life, she resided in Uniontown, McKeesport, Richmond, VA, and was living currently in New York.

Dawn was loving person who exuded joy and excitement in life. She and was a supportive friend and loved one. She shared respect, passion, and harmonious love with family and friends.  Her boisterous enthusiasm, often without barriers, encompassed her. Dawn was full of fun and delight. 

Dawn enters eternal rest with her parents: Marie K. Harris and John Henry Stevenson whom adopted her immediately after birth and nurtured and loved her. She is also joined by her grandchildren: Kingston and Kaii; nephew: Brent; godson: Michael “Scooter”; birth mother: Lorraine Walker, and birth sibling, Johnny Carpenter IV.

Left to honor Dawn’s legacy are: Latoya Harris, daughter (grandchildren: Malik, Destiny, Ry’Liah, Tatiana, Taysia and Dallas); James Harris, son (grandchild, Ky’mora); Britni Harris, daughter (grandchildren: Ka’Marri, Nasir, Tiani, and Caii’Ro); great-grandchildren: Aryonna, Niomi, Zamiah, Milo, Shaiera and Niyima; sister, Evelyn Harris; ‘brotherly-cousin’, Harlan R. Harris; birth siblings: Robin Smith, Kimberly Jackson, Marla Jones, Sheila Speights, David Hughes, Shelley Williams, Shawne Walker, Sidney McCune; birth aunt, Eileen Burton; niece, Christina Craggette, and a host of family and friends to include special and beloved friends: Vinita Birt Adams, Amanda Jointer, Mangra Rambally, and fiancé Stephen Skipworth.

Dawn lives eternally in our hearts……REST DEAR ONE!
