Connie Woods was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She was well-known throughout Masontown, McClellandtown, Edenborn, Republic, and Brownsville, where she resided at the time of her passing.  

Connie was the only daughter to William "Bill" Dotson and Jimmie Keith Rivers Dotson.  She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, John "Pete" Woods; her big brother, Jimmy "Buggy" Dotson; and her beloved baby granddaughter Jonnetta Marie Dotson.

She is survived by her brother Andrew "Pee Wee" Dotson, whom she loved dearly; and her sons, who were her heartbeats, Johnny Dotson, Roy Johnson, and Christopher "Chrissy" Johnson.

She leaves behind a legacy of love in her cherished grandchildren; Vincent Thomas, Jr., Talena & Ronell Strickland Sr., Monique & Glenn Short Jr., Breahaile & Shaun Davis, De'Metrius & Samantha Jacobs, Valentina Mancini Dotson, Roy Conrad Johnson, Penny "Jazmin" Johnson, Lauryn Johnson, Malonia Johnson, Jayden Johnson, Brayden Johnson, Shaimik Frezzell, and Amaya Adamson; along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
