Christine Renee Middleton, 65 years old, of Uniontown PA, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024, leaving her family and friends deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden passing.
Christine was born on July 2, 1958. A graduate of Uniontown Area High School, she lived and worked in the Uniontown area for most of her adult life. Christine was employed as a Teacher's Aide at the Fayette County Head Start from November 12, 1997, to August 17, 2021, at which time she took a medical leave of absence. This leave of absence culminated in her eventual retirement on March 3, 2021. Over the years, she poured her heart and soul into her work at Head Start. It was her joy and life's work, and she took great pride in her position. This was evident in all who knew, or came to know, her.
Christine spent much of her free time with family and friends, watching comedies, cooking, and listening to Luther Vandross. Christine was creative; she had an incredible green thumb and could often be found decorating her home for every upcoming holiday.
Everyone who knew Christine knew how caring, funny, and direct she was. It was, also, very well known that she would never bite her tongue for anybody. Christine was full of laughter and love, and she offered wisdom wrapped in her varied and memorable sayings and catch-phrases which no one will ever forget. Above all, she was generous and giving, and these traits were immediately clear to all she encountered, even after just a single meeting with her.
Christine was preceded in death by her fiancé, Samuel James Lee; brother, Johnny Middleton, and her son, John Henry. She is survived by her children: Arméd Middleton Sr. and wife, Marcella Middleton and their son, Arméd Middleton Jr.; Lakisha Middleton and her son, Marlo Johnson; Lawrence Jones (Breya Falcone) and his son, Cor'dae Jones; her siblings: Carol Middleton, Cecil & Deloris Middleton, and Donna Middleton; sister-in-law and lifelong friend, Brenda Middleton; and an abundance of nieces and nephews, and friends who will honor and cherish her memory.
We will miss her more than words can say.
Friends will be received at the LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA on Saturday, May 4th from 11AM- 1PM. The funeral service will begin at 1 PM.
