Cheryl Brown

Cheryl Brown, age 70, of Uniontown passed away on April 29, 2024, at the Uniontown Hospital. She was Born July 24, 1953, in Uniontown to the late James and Elizabeth (Jones) Yancey.

Cheryl worked as a cook at Mt. Macrina Manor for many years. She was a beautiful woman with a beautiful spirit. Her children and family adored her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her one daughter, Pamela Brown; siblings: Johnny Yancey, Mary Yancey, Geraldine Craggette, Kathy Yancey, and Wesley Yancey.

She is survived by her four children: Kim Brown, Ronette Morgan, Keisha Thomas, and James (Leane) Brown; 19 Grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; siblings: Denise Harper, Nancy Wardell, Jeff Yancey, Keith Yancey and Charles Yancey; other relatives, and friends.

Friends will be received at the LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA on Monday, May 6th from 11 PM – 1 PM, the hour of service.
