Cathy L. Brown

Cathy Lorraine Brown, age 73, of Uniontown, PA, passed away in her sleep on December 1, 2025, after a 3-year battle with cancer. She was born on August 26, 1952, in Uniontown, PA. 

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents: Marshall Brown and Daisy Elliott Brown; and her brothers: Richard White and Robert White.  

Cathy graduated from Uniontown Area High School, Uniontown, PA in 1970.  After graduating from high school, she attended Fashion and Modeling school in Pittsburgh, PA. She loved everything fashionable, watching TV, and spending time with her family, and friends. 

Cathy was employed at Volkswagen, Inc. in New Stanton, PA for 10 years. Later she worked at Giant Eagle where she was the supervisor of the meat department, as well as a cashier. She retired in 2007 after 20 years of employment.  After her retirement, she worked at different retail stores part-time including Kmart, Bon Ton, and JCPenney department stores.

Leaving to cherish her memories are her son, Michael Jones, Jr. (LaShawn Tracy, partner); sister, Marsha (Edward) Lawson; grandchildren: Michael III, Nichelle, and Ashton; great-grandsons: Nisir and Dream; bonus grandson, Dylan Spedden; bonus grandchildren: Giovanni, Jaxson, Milli, Dylan Jr; an aunt, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended bonus family, and friends.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E . Main St, Uniontown, PA from 12 PM - 2 PM. The funeral service will immediately follow starting at 2 PM.
