Carolyn Lee

Carolyn Charlene Lee, age 53, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 4, 2024. Carolyn was born on December 22, 1970, to Oscar Lee and the late Floreen Barnes - Lee

Carolyn enjoyed watching her favorite team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She loved supporting her family, cooking big dinners, attending cookouts, running, fishing, and traveling—she was always ready to go! Carolyn was always the life of the party and enjoyed dancing every chance she got. 

In addition to her mother, Carolyn was preceded in death by her daughter, La’Quetta Stephens; brother, Stephen Lee, and her grandmothers: Fannie Lee and Anna Johnson. 

Carolyn was survived by and leaves to cherish her two sons: Tearo Stephens and Amari “Karon” Turner; her father, Oscar Lee, and loving step mother, Pamela Lee; siblings: Floreen, Jimmy, Alicia, and Samantha Lee and Neil, Reuben, Quincy, Oscar Stokes and Kent Ramsey, Eric Rucker, and Faith Fairfax; grandchildren: Ja’Quayvion, Za’Ryah, Lyrix, Za’Liyah, and Prince;a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members, and  special friends: Lisa and Pumpkin. 

The family would also like to give a special thank you to Alberta Lee. 

Friends will be received at the John Wesley AME Zion Church, 349 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA on Monday, July 15th from 12 PM – 2 PM. The funeral will begin at 2 PM.
