Archie R. Hungerford, Jr.

Archie R. Hungerford, Jr., age 61, of Chestnut Ridge, passed away on June 27, 2024 at the Uniontown Hospital. He was born in Brownsville, PA on August 9, 1962, to the late Archie Hungerford, Sr. and Thelma Tinsley Howell.

Archie was employed at Salson Trucking where he worked as a yard jockey. He enjoyed driving trucks, scrolling social media sites, and playing games on his phone. He was a private person and loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. One of his favorite past times was deer watching with his friends, Larry & Barry Riggin. He truly appreciated his friend, Jennifer, who always made sure he ate.

Archie leaves to cherish his memories his siblings: Mildred Woolley of Chestnut Ridge, Beverly Black, Tiffany Hungerford, and Rochelle Hungerford – all of Easton, PA, Keith Howell and Leslie Howell—both of Ohio; his son, Larry (Angela) Boyd of Morgantown; grandchildren: Harleigh, Rhyse, and Ava, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Services are entrusted to LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main Street, Uniontown, PA where friends will be received on Friday, July 19th for a memorial gathering from 12 PM – 1 PM; the memorial service will be begin at 1 PM with Rev. Cynthia Hackett officiating.
