Amos R. Saunders

Amos Robert Saunders, Jr., age 64, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. The eldest of five children, he was born on May 10, 1960, in Uniontown to the late Amos Robert Saunders, Sr., and Betty Jo (Holmes) Saunders. 

Amos Jr. (aka Robbie) worked for Allied Universal Security as a security officer for 10 years before retiring in September 2023. And on March 27, 2024, Robbie accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour.

Robbie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna Joyce (Beattie) Saunders; children: Amos Robert (Erika) Saunders, III, Andre M. (Shanae) Saunders, Danny Cosper, and Angel (Jay) Saunders; siblings: Michael Saunders of Uniontown, PA, James (Val) Saunders of Gaithersburg, MD, Melissa Saunders of Frederick, MD and Andrena Daniels of Gaithersburg, MD; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Professional Services are entrusted to Lantz Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St, Uniontown, PA where friends will be received on June 1st from 11 AM to 1 PM, the hour of service.
