Alice Harris

Alice Mae Harris, age 94, of Hiller, PA passed away on February 25, 2024, at the Uniontown Hospital. She was born in Selma, AL on August 16, 1929, to the late John Smith and Martha B. Jones Smith.

Alice enjoyed bowling, visiting casinos, and spending time with her children and many grandkids, especially at the family barbeques.

In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Frank Harris; son, Johnny F. Harris, and two grandsons: David A. Harris, Jr. and Ian C. Praster.

Alice is survived by her sister, Clara Yarbrough of Allsion, PA; nine children: Ella F. Harris of California, PA, Fred M. (Mona) Harris of Lowhill, PA, Donald (Danielle) Harris of Pittsburgh, Danny Harris of Ambridge, PA, Barbara Harris of Republic, PA, David A. (Rachel) Harris of Eighty-Four, PA, Mary A. (Emmanuel) Lane of Pittsburgh, PA, Lisa A. (Howard) McFadden of Uniontown, PA, and Sally A. (Darnell) Samuel of Brownsville, PA; nephew, Carl Price of Allison, PA; 28 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received at the LANTZ Funeral Home, Inc., 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA on Monday, March 4th from 12 PM to 2PM, the hour of service with Pastor Alfred L. Thompson, Jr. officiating.
