Adrienne Russell, a loving, kind, and friendly individual, passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 46. She was born on March 7, 1977, in Newark, NJ, and later resided in Uniontown, PA. Adrienne was a devoted mother to her children.
Adrienne's life was marked by her passion for advocating for autism. She dedicated herself to raising awareness and supporting families affected by autism. As a public speaker, she shared her experiences and knowledge, making a significant impact on the lives of many. Adrienne's commitment to her cause led her to initiate the "Celebrating the Families" conference at her workplace, where she brought together individuals and families to share their stories and support one another.
Aside from her advocacy work, Adrienne had a creative side. She enjoyed painting beautiful pictures and found solace in expressing herself through art. Her love for God was evident in her daily life, providing her with strength and guidance.
Adrienne's impact on the lives of those who knew her extended beyond her advocacy and hobbies. She was known for her helpful nature and her willingness to look after others. Her selflessness and genuine care for those around her left a lasting impression.
Adrienne was employed at Adelphi for 5 years as a Family Advocate, where she made a significant difference in the lives of the families she worked with. She graduated from Laurel Highlands High School in 1995 and earned her associate degree in Social Sciences from Rasmussen University.
Adrienne's memory will be cherished by her children: Deja Russell, Paris Adrian Brown, Malachi Isaiah Brown, and Jahiem Howard Brown; mother, Cheryl Russell; father, Nathaniel Elloitt; siblings: Marquis Anthony Kenney, Jonathan, Chantel, and Ashley Elliott, Jameelah Anderson, Latosha Polen; grandmother, Annie Stuckey; aunts: Cherie Russell, Brenda Russell, and Annie Ruth Elliott; cousin Schewanda Russell; other many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate Adrienne's life at the New Beginnings Full Gospel Church, 74 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Uniontown, PA, on Thursday, December 14th. The visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 1:00 PM.
