Marla was the sweetest, kindest person.  I loved working with her at the IU because she always had a smile on her face.  She made my days happy ones.  I can still hear her laugh.  Marla will be greatly missed.  We mourn but the heavens rejoice.

Yes,god opened the gates for a good one. She will be missed by her IU1 family as well as those at home. I pray her loved ones can carry her love of life with them now that she is gone as this is what made her so special.

Marla Therese,
We all love and miss you so much all ready. You will be on our mind always and we will forever cherish our memories with you. I will remember you months from now, standing in the cold doing our annual black friday shopping (while hungry because we never ate dinner first) arguing with people as we cut the line. I love you!

Love,
your bestie, Nita

Marla we were inseperable in child hood, inseperable in college, In life we both went our own ways to find ourselves.  I never new your pain, I never new your suffering.  You are not suffering anymore, If you needed me you knew were to find me, I respect you, I respect your privacy, you was always so private and quiet..Rest in Peace...One day we will see each other again.   Mary Taylor as you know me.

It is hard to know what to say at a time like this, words seem so inadequate. What a loss for your entire family and the IU family.  I worked with Miss Marla, as I always referred to her, for many years and loved her wit.  I hope you can all be comforted by happy memories and the joy I am sure she brought to everyone's life.  I hope that Lil greeted her, with her hair and nails done perfection, into heaven as I am sure she is there.  Please know that we all share in your sorrow.
