I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of a wonderful man. Tyrone was a coworker of mine and a part of our night shift family. He was a kind, compassionate nurse and took great care of his patients. He was a great friend, easy to talk to and a joy to be around. He was very proud of his girls, he talked about them often. The world really lost a special guy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I know I'm going to miss him a lot.

With my Deepest Sympathy to all Family and Friends of Tyrone Fairfax,
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Tyrone. I was his nursing instructor, and he was one of those students that are a joy to educate, and will never be forgotten. He made everyone smile that knew him. He had a bright personality that permeated the room.
He mostly talked about his daughters. He always said he would do anything for them and he was so proud and loved them so much.
One great memory I have of him was when he played Santa Claus for the class project for children in a school. He was a great Santa and wonderful with the children. That was a good day.
I wish the best for his family, and that only your good memories of this great man comfort you at this time.

Night shift will NEVER be the same without Mr T. Telling me “no worries” when I’d get stressed. I loved working with him he made it fun and we had each other’s back on nights. He was a great nurse, friend and dad who loved his girls. we will miss you!! and always remember you!!!

I met Nurse Fairfax during my elderly moms admission at Uniontown Hopsital. He made such a warm and welcoming impression on me and my son while we we’re visiting her . She was a tiny frail woman . She was upset and scared about being in the hospital again. I just was so overwhelming taken by Mr Fairfax’s compassion , tenderness and superior care for my mom . I felt comforted leaving knowing he was going to be there and be her nurse that evening. He assured me she was in good hands and I believed him. I am so saddened to learn of his passing . My condolences to his family and his children.
