My dearest and oldest friend (my brother) since we were 12 years old, you will be sorely missed. Your kindness and loving spirit will never be replaced in my heart. You and Donna helped me so much through my dark and lonely times. So sad and sorry to see you leave us, but so happy to see you at peace. I love you man.

Dear Donna: Met you once at Amanda Knisel Wolfe's wedding. I worked with Melvin at Mon General for many years and know that the world will be a sadder without Melvin's opulent personality. Sounds as if the two of you have an incredible legacy in you family, friends and church. My God's embrace be especially warm in your time of need.
